15 October 2017 = Flight: Nepal to Bangkok

· Fun and interesting.
·    Meet the 28 participants from 6 countries.
·   Nice and excellent experiences

22 October 2017: departure from Bangkok to Dhaka
· In the airport, I and Mithun were roaming here and there. We felt hopeless because we don’t understand the Bengali language and they never understand the Nepali as well as the English language. One local guy was helped to find out the car by calling in the number of CSF staffs. Tauhid from CSF was there and he picked up from airport to our designated apartment. After taking the Biryani dinner
· We are respectful and honor to him for his support and cooperation.
23 Oct 2017 First day at CSF

Actually, we do not have internet in your apartment, we were searching the cyber and SIM card shop to communicate with friends and family. Early morning at 7: 30 am, we were gone out for searching. The shops in Bangladesh were usually opened after 9 am. We bought the SIM card by searching the alternative shop nearby the Banani market.
While coming in the apartment, we did not know the way. We were roaming here and there for an hour. We decided to call the CSF office. We just missed call them, they replied the call and asked us to come in the office. We asked them our apartment address. By taking the rickshaw, we arrived at the apartment. We reached the office and introduced ourselves. We introduced with all the staffs, we felt that the staffs and supervisor were very helpful.
24 to 28 Oct 2017: Working with CSF
We were busy in making our work plan for 29 Oct (Sunday) meeting at 11 am in CSF
29 Oct: Discussion of the work plan with CSF teams
About the hour, we were conducting the meeting with Mr. Jewel (Senior Programme Manager) of CSF. A brief discussion was done on the agreement and work plan. We make some consensus on working activities to be conducted throughout the year. We are very much open to adding any work if came during the tenure.
1 November: Day at University of South Asia
Nearby Banani Dhaka, there is one reputed university named as the University of South Asia. I and Mithun with Jewel have visited the two campuses. We meet the most energetic and romantic professor, Prof. M. A. Wadud Mondal who did his M.Sc (D.U) in 1965 and Ph.D. (Birmingham) in 1975. He had the very good experiences on global issues. He shared the experiences of time and value. When he worked in the company after his completing his MSC, the company were paid 465 Taka. At that time the cost of rice was 1 taka per kg. He may be able to buy 5 tola gold from that money. Now, from his salary, he hardly bought 1 and a half tola gold. He concluded the value of time with us.
Nov 10 to 14
Visited in Borisal division, Bhola district
Day 1:
Experience in Ferry
After the 4 hours journey from Banani, Dhaka we reached in Podda river. This river is one of the top 3 largest rivers of Bangladesh. We took some snap from the top floor of the ferry. I observed the ferry very innocently.  The ferry was well decorated with the hotel, restaurant and hand carry business. After few minutes of traveling in Ferri, I remember the different incidence happened in the history of Ferry.
1. 1986-04-14 Double-decker ferry sinks in stormy weather in Bangladesh killing 200
2. 1986-05-25 Ferry boat Shamia sinks on Maghna River Bangladesh, 600 killed
3. 1994-08-20 Ferry boat sinks at Chandpur Bangladesh, 300-350 killed
4. 2012-03-13 110 people are killed and 63 are missing after a ferry collides with an oil tanker near Dhaka, Bangladesh
About an hour journey, We touch the land. Again after continuous 3 hours journey in a car, we arrived in the bank of Meghna river. During the traveling, we talked about the structure and architect of a house nearby the road. Most of the house was built by Zinc sheet (Jasta teen). This time the ferry was only one floor.

Day 2 and 3: Eye screening and health camp at Lal mohan
